It's Fall!

We were able to put some decorations up for fall this past week. I absolutely love the little fall grouping that Nana helped me set up. I think Abram thinks it's pretty cool too! Sadly, the scarecrow is falling down behind Abram...can't really see it too well. But I got it because he is precious and reminds me of Abram!

At the Zoo!

On our week off, we meet Nana, Papa and Gracie at the Zoo of Acadiana! It was a lot of fun.

Gracie and Abram enjoyed riding in the wagon together, sliding down the slides, riding the train, and seeing the animals (well, the ones that weren't sleeping because I don't think they could see the ones that were...weren't moving enough to differentiate the animal from their habitats.)




We found this old wagon and tried to take pictures on it.

I think that Gracie just wanted to push Abram off the wagon!


Anyway, it was a great day and we hope to do it again some time.

A Day At The Aquarium

Casey and I both took a week of vacation this week (well, Monday through Thursday), and it has been wonderful!!! We went to New Orleans today.



We started out strolling though the French Quater. Stopped at a cute little restaurant and ate lunch. Then we spent the afternoon at the aquarium. Abram had a blast!!! He enjoyed looking at all of the fish.




Mom, of course, enjoyed the penguins the most! When we were walking though the Amazon Rainforest, Abram started talking back to the birds chirping...it was adorable!!! There was also a replica (partial) of an orca that even had a blow hole that blew mist. Abram was standing, holding on to the whale when the mist began...he got SO excited!




As you can see, we had an absolutely wonderful time today! Abram slept the whole way home...worn out after a fun day!

Phones, Phones, Phones

Abram LOVES to play with our phones...he's always been interested in electronics. However, recently he began playing with the phone and holding it up to his ear while talking on it! It is very cute, so I had to snap a few shots of us playing telephone the other day. Enjoy!!!!

LSU Football

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement! It is the most wonderful time of the year....Football season! We enjoyed the first home football game tailgating with the Pitre family. Abram enjoyed playing with his counsins, especially John! Abram didn't make it to the game (went home with Nana!) but Daddy and Mommy thoroughly enjoyed their view from their new season ticket seats right next to Heidi and James!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

More Hats

Nana and Papa came to visit us, and they brought more hats....BIGger hats for Abram! He is so cute when it comes to hats. He LOVES to play with his daddy's hats, and now he has is own hats that he can wear! WHAT A CUTIE!

I LIKE TO EAT!!!!

Boy, Oh Boy! Abram LOVES to eat...and his tummy and thighs are the proof! Anytime we put food in front of Abram he's happy! Furthermore, anytime Mommy or Daddy is eating something that Abram isn't, he crawls over, stands up, and begs for food. I have to admit, it's pretty cute!
