Bike Riding

Nana and Papa got me a bike and a child's seat for my birthday!!!! I LOVE IT!! Mommy and Daddy and I have gone bike riding almost every day since! I even fell asleep during the ride tonight! Good thing my seat really straps me in!


Afterwards, I ALWAYS like to drink cold water, especially from a bottle like my parents do. Thanks again Nana and Papa!

Birthday Party

Abram had a wonderful birthday party!!! Thank you to all who joined us! He has really enjoyed playing with all of his new toys! It was a great celebration!!!

First Birthday

Abram spent the early morning of his birthday in our bed since he wasn't sleeping well in his crib. In true Huckabee tradition, I took pictures of Abram (and Casey) sleeping on the morning of his birthday. Abram had cupcakes at school with his friends, and one of his friends even gave him a gift...yep, 2 tooth marks on his finger!!!! The note said, "Abram and a friend were playing together when his friend bit him on his finger" Can I say :-( !!!! Besides that, I believe that Abram had a great birthday AND he is loving his new car seat and LOOKING FORWARD!!!!

Work, Work, Work

Wow, it is beginning to get busy around the Fruge House! It seems that my hours are increasing and my time with Abram and Casey are quickly dwindling. I am NOT happy about this, but alas, I must do what I have to in order to finish a residency...I'm just NO WHERE close to the end! :-( So, I'm sorry that I have no pictures to post right now. We were able to bring Abram for his one year old pictures, and I will post them at some time...as soon as I find time! Love you all and continue to pray for our family!

Milestones Flying By!

Abram is beginning to check off those milestones at a steady clip now! He started crawling (on his knees!) about 3 weeks ago and is picking up speed fast!!!! He is also transitioned to table foods...here he is thoroughly enjoying a strawberry Nutragrain bar for breakfast.
And tonight he pulled himself up to standing on the coffee table!!!!!
Mommy and Daddy were so excited!!! Our little boy is growing up fast, and we are cherishing every moment of it!

Gracie and I

Abram has enjoyed playing with Gracie alot lately since we live much closer to her now. We went to Fezzo's in Crowley for Father's Day and Uncle Nick's birthday. Abram liked the frog outside, but Gracie wasn't too excited about it. It was a fun time for everyone!

My cousin and I

Abram has so much fun playing with the Huckabee kids, although I think he is more on pace with Abby's speed than Mason or Ava's. Here are some pictures of Abram and Abby (she just finished swimming with her older siblings) playing one afternoon while Ava and Mason were swimming outside! Enjoy!
