A very much needed vacation

We went to Gulf Shores the day that we closed on our house. Bad timing (we wanted to get started unpacking), but we had planned to have already been in the house for 2 weeks and decided we weren't missing this vacation! We met up with our friends Hunter and Mary Katherine Yentzen and another couple. We had a wonderful time. Abram and mommy were a little under the weather, but we still enjoyed the beach (well, the pool mostly!)

There was some oil in the water that would wash ashore, but they had people with shovels standing by to scoop up the oil and throw it away. Here is a picture of a 'tar ball' of oil on the beach.

All in all, it was a wonderful weekend with friends. Relaxing and Re-energizing. Just what we needed!

Mommy = Medical Doctor!

After years of dreaming and studying, I finally received my MD! It was a wonderful day, and I am so glad that so many special people were able to be there! Now on to residency!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was spent packing up our old home and moving everything into my parent's garage or the Fruge's trailer. We were so blessed to have the Fruge's and the Huckabee's help us and be SO generous!! Thank you!

Here are some pictures of Abram on Mother's Day!

Moving

Praise God!

We have moved into our new house and the boxes are unpacked. Most things have found a new home already! WE LOVE OUR NEW HOUSE!!!! Come visit!

Mr. Mischievious!

I sometimes put Abram on the floor in the bathroom while I'm getting ready in there (or in this case, separating laundry...hence the pile of clothes). I came back from putting clothes in the washer to find this!!!! I told Casey, "Honey, it's time to put the child locks on the cabinets!!!!"

9 months!!!

We are 9months and 20 lbs!!!! Here are some of his new pictures we had taken this past weekend!!!!

Wow, what a month

This past month has been crazy. I worked my acting internship...which was a small glimpse into what the next year of our life will hold. I've learned that I hate working 12 hours days...I'm so lonesome from my boys!!! I don't even want to think about having to stay at the hospital every fourth night!!!! Oh well, for now I'm just going to enjoy these next 2 months and then rely on God's providence after that!

By the way, Abram is getting closer and closer to crawling. Here are some pictures of him ON ALL FOURS!!!!
