Smiles

Let's just say we're all smiles in this house!

Life as a family of four is wonderful! Every night I pray in amazement for the wonderful blessings God has given me. Marriage and parenthood is truly a wonderful vocation and a great way to prepare myself for heaven...I see the joys of heaven in the eyes and smiles of my children...I pray that you do too!

Grandmas visit

Daddy had to go to Alabama after Thanksgiving, Mommy was glad that Gamma and Nana came to help! The boys enjoyed their visitors, too!

Hive Five

Abram and Abby celebrating LSU's awesome season....Geaux Tigers!

Road trip

We've taken multiple road trips in Andrew's first few months of life. We went to Eunice for his baptism, Houston for our great friend Mike's wedding, and DeRidder for my grandmother's 80th birthday party. The boys have really been so good in the car. Andrew likes to snooze...as long as the car is moving....and Abram entertains us by reading, singing, or just being silly!

Putt-Putt

Before it got too cold, we took Abram to play putt-putt at a local course. Abram and Daady played, while Andrew and Mommy cheered them on. Abram especially enjoyed celebrating a good putt! He is too stinkin cute!
My maternity leave was a wonderful time spent with Abram and Andrew...crafts, tummytime, and playing together all day!!! I just wish it didn't have to end!

Andrew's Baptism

I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Andrew was baptized at St. Thomas More in Eunice, LA by our dear friend Fr. Cedric Sonnier. It was a beautiful sacrament...a physical expression of an invisible reality...as Andrew was washed clean of original sin and baptized priest, prophet, and king. I am so thankful for our family who made sacrifices to attend and celebrate this joyous occasion.
