Remotes!!!

Abram is obsessed with remotes, and it is only strengthened by the fact that daddy doesn't let him have it...so when daddy's not home mommy lets him get it!

6 months old!!!!

We took Abram for his 6-month pictures! They turned out SO cute! Here are a few of our favorites!!! We have enough for everyone, so make sure you can some when we see you again!!!!

Big Boy!!!!!

Well, it is official...our boy has started to eat baby foods! Our first stop in this adventure was GREEN BEANS. Abram wasn't too sure what to think about it for the first day...and the second day. However, we now LOVE green beans....yum, yum!!! Just hope Mommy can rid herself of the blues!! It's hard to not think that your baby boy doesn't need you as much anymore! But I'm glad that we are blessed with a healthy baby boy that can grow up and eat real food!

Snow!!!

Casey and I woke up to snow one day!!! There were about 1-2in of snow on the roof and cars and some on the ground and bushes!!!! We were WAY more excited than Abram. But I'm sure he will appreciate it one day.

Christmas!

Here are some photos of Abram's first Christmas...full of LOTS of family!!!

A Year Full of Blessings, Part 2

Then our little blessing joined us in July!!!!

Abram starting growing up right away!

He took his first road trip to Eunice and Lake Charles to visit family and attend Jill's cousin's wedding.

Before she knew it, Jill was having to leave for her month-long rotation in Little Rock, Arkansas. Daddy was wonderful while Mommy was away (He is always wonderful!).

Then Abram joined Mommy for most of her rotation in south Louisiana. He hung out with Aunt Monica, Uncle Michael, Paul, Natalie, and John in Baton Rouge. Daddy joined us for a week in Slidell, LA and we stayed with Hunter Yentzen the week before he married MK!

Then we finally made it back home to Shreveport, shortly before returning to south Louisiana for Thanksgiving and then Christmas. We had a blessed holiday season. Abram is now 5 1/2 months old. He eats cereal at least once a day. It won't be long before he starts other solid foods! He is about 17 pounds now (a long way from the 5 pounds we started at!) and is starting to sit up on his own!

This year has worn Abram out....apparent by the fact the he FELL ASLEEP while eating!!!!

We know that this next year will hold even more blessings in store for us. Jill will finally become a doctor in May!!! We will find out where we will be moving on March 18th (please pray for us!) and then it will be a race to sell our home and find a home (and a sitter) before June! Casey will be looking for a new job in a new city, and Jill will start her residency July 1, 2010. We have been blessed over the past four years...a good job for Casey, friends, church family, and a little blessing called Mrs. Harriet! It has been nice living in the same town as Jill's parents (she will definetly miss them when we move), but we know that God is preparing a place for us...somewhere!

Here's to the year of our Lord, 2010!

A Year Full of Blessings! Part 1

Wow! 2009 was a wonderful year full of many blessings.

First, in February we welcomed Grace Katherine (Casey brother, Nick, and his wife, Jeanelle's first born girl!) and she was baptized in March.

Then we welcomed Abby Renae in May. (Jill's brother, Josh, and his wife, Reagan's, third child and second girl!) She was baptized in July, and Casey and Jill were able to make it even though Jill was in her ninth month of pregnancy.

Jill served in her good friend, Jenay's, wedding in June! Even though she felt like a blimp walking down the aisle at 34 weeks pregnant, she wouldn't have missed it for the world!!!!

Casey also took his youth group to Steubenville South at the end of June for the 3rd year in a row. It was another wonderful, spiritual experience. Again, Jill was semi-concerned about her frequent Braxton-Hicks contractions since she was 36 weeks pregnant.

In between were 3 wonderful baby showers hosted by many family members and friends! We are SO, SO blessed!
